A call for humanity wrapped in pop sci clothing

It’s all out there in the intro. The disease kills a staggering proportion of humans, slowly. But it just doesn’t kill the humans who control resources. We learn some history but mostly we learn the incredibly frustrating perspective of waiting to die because you are not important enough.

By the time there is a call for action and some possibility, you are absolutely craving it.
